Marvin the Robot

Marvin is a companion to the main character, Arthur, and his friend, Ford, throughout much of the story as I've read it. He has an abnormally large head since he has such a huge brain. He is a GPP robot and hes supposed to simulate people's personalities. Hes a prototype and seems pretty broken, because all he can simulate is sadness. He always is down, doesn't want to do the jobs hes ordered to, and complains a lot. I thinks its pretty funny the way he acts and responds to people, but that doesn't make him any less of an odd character. Marvin also seems like he may end up playing a particularly large role in the story seeing how he and Arthur are just standing there on the cover of the book.

This seems to be one of the most strangest blogs i have read.I think that its only because your telling the whole truth. Also how is a robot able to simulate emotions. That makes everything weirder than it really is.

thats one weird robot..why does he complain about his jobs? like, does he just hate stimulating feelings or is he upset that all he can do is make people sad?
